Craig's career in education covers the last 16 years. Craig is an experienced educator, presenter and conference planner. Craig has served as a Social Studies teacher, Media Specialist and is currently the pK-12 Integration Specialist for Aurora Public Schools in Aurora, Nebraska.

We’ll play a game to test your #digcit knowledge, we’ll talk about ways to utilize and harness the power of social media in your classroom and then Craig will share some of his favorite Digital Citizenship resources that he uses in his K-12 adventures. Come play and learn all in one session!

Part debate, part discussion, part conversation. This is a participant driven session. I'll provide 8-10 emerging or controversial topics around digital citizenship, education or technology. You'll share whether you like it or not. Don’t plan on sitting and getting in this session, it’s part debate, part conversation. We'll have fun!
Apps, Apps and More Apps...But Let's Be Sure We Are CREATING!
We all know that the best app in the classroom is an engaging teacher. An app can't replace a teacher, but it can help you differentiate within your classroom. Craig will be showing creation based apps that are FREE and are easily integrated into any classroom.

Ever feel like you’re drinking from a firehose when it comes to all of the digital resources and tech tools available to you as a teacher? Craig will be showing you some of his favorite websites, apps, and other technology tools that are easily integrated into any curriculum. This session will be fast and furious. Caffeine intake is highly encouraged prior to this session!

No, Twitter is not about what Ashton Kutcher had for lunch. Twitter has the ability to revolutionize your classroom! In this workshop, Craig will cover the very basics of what Twitter is all about. Teachers will learn how to create a Twitter account, how to "follow" and find other educators, how to use the search feature and how to manage their settings.

In this workshop, teachers will need to have a Twitter account. Teachers will be learning how to use Twitter clients like Tweetdeck (laptop) and Hoootsuite (iPad). Teachers will also be learning the value of hashtags and "chats" that take place on Twitter.
Super Secret iPad Moves
So you got an iPad for Christmas or your Principal handed you one. Frustrated because you don't feel like you know how to effectively use all of the features of the iPad? This session is for teachers, administrators, parents, patrons that are new to the iPad and would like to see the power of this amazing device. Craig will be covering the basic use of the iPad and you will leave this session a lot more comfortable with your new device.
"Gone Google"
Has your school switched to Google Apps for Education? Craig can show you some of the great tools that come with being a GAFE. Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Forms, Google Presentations, the Chrome Store, Google Extensions. There is a plethora of tools available within your Google Apps for Education account. Let Craig show you how to use these tools to make your classroom more productive.
